LaMarre earned his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College, where he graduated with honors. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane's School of Law. At Tulane, Mr. Elder was awarded the prestigious Dean's Scholarship. Mr. Elder obtained a certification in Mediation while studying at the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.

Since graduating, LaMarre has practiced primarily in the area of general civil litigation. He has experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, business disputes, criminal defense, family law, and class action law suits. He is licensed to practice in California and Louisiana.

LaMarre has successfully handled hundreds of domestic and personal injury cases.
